COVID-19 Vaccination Station at Gleneagles for XBB mRNA COVID-19 vaccines (For Eligible Citizens)


Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong is one of the healthcare institutions enrolled under the Government’s COVID-19 Vaccination Programme to provide XBB mRNA vaccination for eligible citizens.

As recommended by the Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health (DH), people belonging to the high-risk priority groups, regardless of the number of COVID-19 vaccine doses they received, can receive an additional COVID-19 vaccine booster for free with a dosing interval of at least six months after the last dose or recovery from COVID-19 infection. For people belong to the non-high-risk priority groups, in other words, all persons aged 6 months or above who are still not vaccinated or have not yet completed initial doses may choose to receive XBB vaccine as their initial vaccination for free from 27 March 2024.

Service period: 7 February 2024 – 31 May 2024  

Venues:

(1) Eligible persons aged above 12: GHK Theatre, G/F, Tower B, Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong, 1 Nam Fung Path, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong 

(2) Eligible persons aged 6 months to 12: Clinic P, 1/F, Tower A, Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong, 1 Nam Fung Path, Wong Chuk Hang, Hong Kong 

Operation hours: Monday to Friday*9:00am – 1:00pm2:00pm – 5:00pm

Documents to bring with you

  1. Hong Kong Identity Card 
  2. SMS message or photocopy of booking confirmation 
  3. Previous COVID-19 vaccination records (if any) 

Points to note

  1. To avoid overcrowding, you are advised to reach the vaccination station no earlier than 15 minutes before your appointment time  
  2. To avoid overcrowding, accompanying person(s) should wait outside the station 
  3. Inform our on-site medical staff if you have any allergy history or medical history before receiving the vaccination 
  4. Read the vaccine information carefully, and inquire our on-site medical staff if you have any questions before vaccination 
  5. Recipients are required to stay at the station for at least 15 minutes after vaccination for observation. Please inform our staff in case you feel any discomfort after vaccination 
  6. You may leave the vaccination station after the 15-minute resting time if you do not have any discomfort 
  7. Vaccination is not advised to those who have illnesses or fever, and you are suggested to seek medical advice as soon as possible 
  8. You are recommended to clean your hands upon arrival, before the vaccination and before leaving the Hospital
  9. You are recommended to wear a surgical mask within the hospital premises 
  10. No photo taking, video recording and live broadcasting in the vaccination station
