Services provided by plastic surgeons, dermatologists and nursing staff include comprehensive dermatologic diagnosis, mole surveillance program, skin prick test, onychomycosis treatment, cryotherapy, scar treatment, aesthetic treatment, skin biopsy, laser treatment, and MiraDry microwave ablation of sweat glands etc.

Our clinic provides MiraDry microwave ablation of sweat glands^* for patients with hyperhidrosis and bromhidrosis. With its patented non-invasive microwave technology, the treatment delivers microwave energy through a sterile single-use bioTip to the sweat glands and destroys them, to achieve the effect of reducing sweat.

The treatment is clinically proven to achieve 82% reduction of underarm sweat on average^#. Noticeable results can be seen after one treatment, with 70%-80% improvement after two sessions. The treatment is safe with low complication rate. The treatment is done by certified plastic surgeons or dermatologists.

Duration of treatment: about 1 hour without hospitalisation

Fees: HK$48,000/one session

Possible reactions after the treatment: slight redness, swelling and partial loss of armpit hair. If necessary, ice pads can be applied to the treated area for relieving the discomfort.

People with the following conditions are not recommended for the MiraDry treatment:

• Pregnancy
• Skin cancer
• Infection/ skin allergy
• Allergy to lignocaine
• Allergy to adrenaline Pace-maker/ defibrillator implanted
