Cancer (Oncology)

Tumours are abnormal growths which can either be cancerous or non-cancerous. Cancerous tumours are treated by clinical oncologists - medical practitioners specialised in the care and treatment of cancer patients. Diagnosis of cancer is but one of the many facets of oncology. Oncologists provide  drug therapy associated with cancer known as “chemotherapy”, as well as a treatment called radiotherapy.

Battling cancer is emotionally, physically and psychologically draining for both the patient and carer. At Gleneagles Hong Kong Hospital (GHK), clinical oncologists work with surgeons, radiotherapists, specialty nurses and counsellors to provide a holistic care environment for our patients.

Our comprehensive treatments offered include:

  • Cancer Screening
