Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong - Diploma in Advanced Clinical Laboratory Knowledge, Phlebotomy, Intravenous Cannulation and Electrocardiogram Operation (TQUK Level 5)

As the demand for medical services continues to increase, so does the demand for manpower in related professionals. The phlebotomist training course offered by our hospital has trained many phlebotomists to enter the healthcare industry. However, the work of a phlebotomist is closely related to the operation of the laboratory. By understanding clinical laboratory operations and testing items, professional knowledge and skills can be consolidated.

Gleneagles Hong Kong Hospital is now offering new courses that combine specialist laboratory knowledge with special blood collection procedures, such as paediatric phlebotomy and blood culture sample collection. The work of medical laboratory assistants, various laboratory procedures and techniques will also be introduced so that students can fully master their daily work. Laboratory work is suitable for those who wish to become medical laboratory assistants.

Hong Kong Gleneagles Hospital (Clinical Laboratory) has become a TQUK (Training Qualification UK) recognised centre, and the courses will also apply for TQUK certification.
