The urinary tract consists of the kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra. Urology is a surgical specialty involving the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive system. There are different subspecialties within urology, which covers a wide spectrum of disease entity. It involves urology oncology which consists of kidney, bladder, prostate, testes and penile cancer; female urology which involves female urinary incontinence, genital prolapse, recurrent urinary tract infection and voiding dysfunction. Other modalities include stone disease which involves stone in any site of urinary tract; male voiding dysfunction; male infertility plus erectile dysfunction and infection along the whole urinary tract.
