Lung Cancer Centre

The Lung Cancer Centre provides one-stop comprehensive diagnosis and treatment services to lung cancer patients including standardised management of solitary pulmonary nodule or multiple lung shadows, advanced technology in investigating lung pathology and diagnosis of lung cancer.

The Centre also fosters education and promotion of lung cancer screening to the high-risk population.

Through a multi-disciplinary approach, the Centre formulates individualised treatment plan for each lung cancer patient, utilising both open surgery or Video-assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS), advanced technology radiotherapy such as Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), state-of-the-art chemotherapy and immunotherapy, and new generation targeted therapies.

Regular MDT meetings will be convened for evaluation of all cancer cases to perform clinical assessment and staging, formulation of treatment and management strategies, monitoring of treatment response and outcome.

Treatments and Services We Offer:

  • CT-guided lung biopsy
  • Advanced endoscopy lung lesion diagnosis equipment including EBUS/miniprobe guided biopsy
  • Electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy with lung biopsy
  • CrossCountry™ CT-electromagnetic hybrid navigation bronchoscopy with lung biopsy
  • High precision radiation treatments including Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) and Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT)
  • Chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapy given alone or in combination as appropriate (with clinical pharmacy counselling before commencement of drug therapy)
  • Radiology services including CT, MRI, PET/CT or PET/MR imaging
  • Histopathology and molecular pathology services for assays for blood and tumor tissue genomic changes

Clinical Case Manager

The team will have a nurse coordinator to work as a clinical case manager (CCM) to schedule the bookings and appointments of various radiology and pathology investigations, and surgical and oncology treatments planned for each patient.

  • Clinic R, 1/F, Tower A (clinical and medical oncology service)


Service hours:

  • By appointment during weekdays from 9am – 6pm, and Saturdays from 9am – 1pm.
