Assistant Quality, Safety and Risk Management Manager (OSH)

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide professional support in the development and implementation of safety management system.
  • Assist in the development, review and communication of safety manuals/ guidelines of various OSH areas.
  • Provide professional input and support in development, coordination and implementation of various OSH initiatives.
  • Provide advice on measures in handling various OSH hazards.
  • Conduct OSH inspections, field visits, risk assessments, accident and incident investigation, personal and environmental monitoring.
  • Conduct specific OSH/ Occupational Hygiene (OH) training at cluster/hospital levels for incident prevention.
  • Support OSH incident management process for hospital.
  • Implement OSH audit on special hazard areas.
  • Provide support to ensure compliance of the legal requirements in OSH. Provide executive support for Non-clinical Risk Management Committee.

Requirements

  • A university degree plus a diploma or above in OSH or Occupational Hygiene.
  • At least 2 years’ post-qualification professional / managerial experience in OSH / occupational hygiene in a sizable organization.  5 years working experience in healthcare environment.
  • Preferred attributes: Recognized training by Labour Dept for registration as Safety Officer, possess Master Degree in Occupational Safety and Health/Occupational Hygiene with specialization in particular hazard management and experience relevant to the health care environment will be an advantage
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Good PC skills in general office administration.
  • Responsible, forward looking and self-motivated. Able to work independently, under pressure and take on multiple tasks
