Medical Technologist

• Be an in-charge of a bench, a section of the 24-hour Core Laboratory of the Department of Clinical Laboratory
• Conduct laboratory testing and exercise quality control on routine and special medical laboratory tests and examinations
• Participate in method and instrument evaluation
• Provide training to laboratory staff
• Work independently and may be required to work on shifts and perform on-call duties
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time by the hospital or laboratory senior management
• 5 working days per week

• Holder of Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologists Board Part 1 Registration License
• Holder of a Master degree in relevant medical laboratory science subjects is preferable
• At least 5 years of relevant experience working in medical laboratory
• Experience in any one or mixed specialty of hospital medical laboratory, relevant qualified Clinical Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Diagnostics, Haematology and Blood Bank or LIS experience can be an advantage
