Job Responsibilities
- Assisting the team in managing the total lifecycle of medical equipment used within the hospital campus, including:
- technology review of medical equipment/ system
- installation and commissioning of medical equipment/ system
- repair and maintenance of medical equipment
- monitoring medical equipment safety alerts
- replacement planning and disposal management of medical equipment
- Ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor
- On-call support during off-office hour
Requirements
- A degree majoring in engineering (biomedical or equivalent)
- At least 5 years’ working experience relating to medical device industry, preferably in hospital setting
- Strong technical know-how in medical device area
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Good team player
- A fast learner with positive attitude
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Biomedical Engineer / Graduate Engineer
- HKIE Scheme “A” training (BME discipline) will be offered to potential Graduate Engineer
