Our clinic provides MiraDry microwave ablation of sweat glands^* for patients with hyperhidrosis and bromhidrosis. With its patented non-invasive microwave technology, the treatment delivers microwave energy through a sterile single-use bioTip to the sweat glands and destroys them, to achieve the effect of reducing sweat.

The treatment is clinically proven to achieve 82% reduction of underarm sweat on average^#. Noticeable results can be seen after one treatment, with 70%-80% improvement after two sessions. The treatment is safe with low complication rate. The treatment is done by certified plastic surgeons or dermatologists.

Duration of treatment: about 1 hour without hospitalisation

Fees: HK$48,000/one session

Possible reactions after the treatment: slight redness, swelling and partial loss of armpit hair. If necessary, ice pads can be applied to the treated area for relieving the discomfort. 

Applicable persons: Persons aged 18 or above

People with the following conditions are not recommended for the MiraDry treatment:

• Pregnancy
• Skin cancer
• Infection/ skin allergy
• Allergy to lignocaine
• Allergy to adrenaline Pace-maker/ defibrillator implanted
