Senior Manager of Material Management

Job Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of sourcing, procurement and warehousing professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure suppliers meet company standard
- Explore new materials, suppliers and channels to uphold optimal quality and pricing
- Evaluate and improve department policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and provide insights to senior management with prompt mitigation strategies/actions
- Utilize data and analytics to drive decision-making to improve department operations
- Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for routine operations and ad hoc assignments
- Ensure department activities comply with relevant laws, codes, regulations, and company/group policies
- Act as the key focal point with the group for any relevant matters
Requirement
- Degree in logistics or supply chain management, or a related discipline
- At least 18 years of experience in procurement and warehouse operations, including not less than 8 years at supervisory level. Previous experience in healthcare/hospital is desirable
- Well-versed in the latest supply chain technology and automation development
- Pro-active and good team-player
