2. If I do not live in the Southern or Central and Western District, can I participate?

   According to the current terms of the programme, this service is limited to residents living in the Southern District or Central and Western District. Proof of address may be required during registration to verify eligibility.




3. I am 35 years old. Although I do not meet the 37-70 age requirement, can an exception be made?

   The programme has a strict age screening mechanism targeting individuals aged 37 to 70. If you do not meet the age requirement, we recommend inquiring with the hospital about other self-paid health check-up packages.




4. Why can't I participate if I already know I am a carrier?

   The purpose of this programme is to "screen" for hidden (asymptomatic and unknown) carriers. If you have already been diagnosed as a Hepatitis B carrier, we recommend consulting your doctor regarding appropriate follow-up and monitoring arrangements.




5. Do I need to fast before the blood test?

   Generally, Hepatitis B surface antigen and antibody tests do not require fasting. However, as the programme includes a doctor's consultation, it is recommended to confirm with staff when booking whether other tests affected by diet will be performed on that day.




6. What happens if the test result is positive?

   If the results indicate that you are a Hepatitis B carrier (positive), the clinic will arrange specialist referral for further assessment and follow-up.
