In line with these ongoing efforts to engage with the public, Gleneagles is proud to sponsor the Hong Kong International Horse Show to be held during 14-16 February 2025 at the AsiaWorld-Expo. Through this partnership, the hospital aims to raise awareness of the importance of sports and the health of our community. A series of related health education campaigns and special offers will be launched, with the hope of promoting equestrian sports to the public while emphasising the significance of maintaining overall health.

As one of Hong Kong’s major sports events this year, the Hong Kong International Horse Show is expected to attract thousands of equestrian enthusiasts and sports lovers. Raise awareness of bone health through launching special offers on screening and surgery packages

Gleneagles is committed to offering comprehensive healthcare services and has established different specialist service centres, including the Joint Replacement Centre and Spine Centre, which provide offers on a range of related health check-ups and surgery packages. In support of the Hong Kong International Horse Show, Gleneagles is introducing special offers on the packages for robotic-arm assisted spinal fusion surgery and osteoporosis screening to encourage the public to be more conscious of bone health and allow patients in need to receive appropriate treatment to improve their spinal health.

Gleneagles strives to introduce innovative and advanced surgical and medical equipment to further enhance treatment outcomes and patient experience. With the aim towards improving surgical precision and safety and reducing the risk of complications, the hospital has recently introduced a robotic-arm system to assist in spinal fusion surgeries. The hospital is now offering related all-inclusive surgery package deals which cover doctor’s fees, room charges, implant costs, etc, within the scheduled length of stay. The packages provide clear and transparent pricing, offering patients greater peace of mind. These offers will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

The above is complemented by a limited offer on osteoporosis screening package to raise awareness of this common yet often overlooked condition. With osteoporosis being particularly prevalent among middle-aged and elderly individuals, as well as postmenopausal women, early prevention and treatment are critical in reducing the risk of fractures. The offer aims to encourage more individuals to undergo early detection and management of their bone health and ultimately improving their quality of life.

24-hour medical services to protect health of the public

Beyond special offers on sports injury treatment, Gleneagles’s 24-hour Outpatient and Emergency Department is equipped to provide immediate, one-stop services for patients suffering from sports injuries or joint issues. Patients have quick access to X-rays and be referred to orthopaedic surgeons for further examination, diagnosis and rehabilitative care. To further enhance patients’ accessibility to high-quality care, the hospital also offers non-emergency medical escort services. Gleneagles is the first private hospital in Hong Kong to offer point-to-point medical escort services, with the services extending to Mainland China. These cross-border services include cashless arrangements, family accommodation bookings and doctor appointments, allowing a seamless healthcare experience for patients.
