Course Details

Aims to enable participants to recognise cardiac arrest in adults, children and infants. The course will include the activation of an emergency response system, performing high-quality CPR for all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED), and relief of foreign bodies for all ages. This course will make use of video clips, hands-on practical sessions and small group discussions to facilitate participants master the skills of basic life support for both in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings.

The ACLS Provider Course is designed for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. Through didactic instruction and active participation in simulated cases, the candidates will enhance their skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).

The ACLS Provider Course is to improve outcomes for adult patients of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies through early recognition and interventions by high-performance teams.

The ACLS Renewal Course provides update knowledge and revision for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. Through didactic instruction and active participation in simulated cases, the candidates will enhance their skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute dysrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS). It is a renewal programme for AHA ACLS Provider candidates to refresh their knowledge and skills.
