Job Responsibilities
- Plan, implement and maintain safe, effective and efficient pharmacy daily operations, clinical and aseptic services
- Perform drug dispensing and other duties related to pharmacy service and medication management according to regulatory requirements
- Conduct patient counseling by explaining usage, precautions and monitoring of the medications to patients
- Plan, develop and deliver educational/training and development programs for pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals
- Provide drug information to doctors, nurses and patients
- Perform quality assurance procedures such as ward inspections and expiry date checks, as assigned
- Assist the Departmental Manager/Senior Pharmacist in the development and operation of hospital pharmacy services and assigned duties
- Shift duty may be required
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent awarded by institutions recognized by the Pharmacy & Poisons Board of Hong Kong
- Holder of a valid Pharmacist Certificate of Registration and Practising Certificate issued by the Pharmacy & Poisons Board of Hong Kong
# Post-registration hospital pharmacist experience with a relevant postgraduate professional degree or equivalent will be an advantage (Experience acquired as a pharmacist after registration with recognized overseas registration authorities but prior to registration with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong can also be accepted as post-registration experience) - A team player with good communication skills
- Proficient in oral and written English and Chinese
- Knowledge in computer systems
- Be motivated to achieve within a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment
- Innovative, adaptive, with good systemic and analytical thinking skills
