• Conduct daily infection surveillance and closely monitor infectious disease cases to identify trends and risks
• Ensure accurate triage, patient cohorting, and appropriate isolation placement to prevent cross-infection
• Manage IPC plans for individual high-risk patients, including those with multidrug-resistant organisms
• Ensure proper implementation and rigorous enforcement of IPC measures across clinical areas to safeguard patients and staff
• Support safe clinical operations by auditing compliance with hand hygiene, PPE use, and environmental cleaning standards
• Develop hospital policies in line with international guidelines and occupational health regulations to prevent healthcare-associated infections and outbreaks
• Maintain precise documentation of surveillance data, intervention outcomes, and outbreak investigations
• Supervise and coach junior nurses and HCAs on infection control practices, including isolation protocols and spill management
• Deliver targeted education on infection prevention to patients, families, and staff during high-risk periods and organize health promotion activities
• Maintain clear communication with doctors, multidisciplinary teams, patients, and relatives regarding infection risks and precautions
• Perform outbreak investigations, policy updates, and other infection control duties as assigned.

• Holder of a valid Registered Nurse Practicing Certificate (Part 1) issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong
• Preferably with Degree in Nursing
• BLS bi-yearly recertification
• Clinical and technical competency
• Specific experience in surveillance, outbreak investigation, and implementing infection prevention strategies is preferred
• Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures, knowledge of current trends in nursing practice
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese Languages
• Good customer service skills
• Good interpersonal skills
