Junior Sous Chef (Chinese Cuisine)

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare food orders according to standards established by Head Chef are constantly met

  • Maintain high standard of hygiene and cleanliness of kitchen area.

  • Ensure safe and proper use of equipment at all times.

  • Assist to maintain and control food cost and wastage.

  • Ensure all food products are stored properly in the appropriate fridges.

  • Closely follow all HACCP related standards

  • Understand patient food requires

Requirements

  • Form 5 or above
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in culinary with at least 2 years in supervisory capacity

  • Good communication skills with ability to interact with guest and other departments

  • Good knowledge in HACCP and food hygiene.

  • Good problem Communication and interpersonal skill

  • Basic skill in computer application
