Senior Registered Nurse (24-hour Outpatient and Emergency)

• Self-directed and maintain current in nursing practices through formal education and self-development
• Support smooth running of clinical services and safe care to patients
• Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families
• Ensure customer satisfaction, resolve and follow through quality and service issues
• Supervise junior nursing personnel in providing quality nursing care. Monitor and assess junior nurses’ competency progression and performance
• Provide good and accurate documentations related to medical record
• Provide health care education to patients and their relatives
• Follow hospital policy and international standard to implement infection control measures
• Follow the rules and guidelines on occupational safety and health laid down by hospital
• Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
• Maintain good communication with doctor, patients and relatives
• Maintain and enhance nursing practice standards through participation in quality improvement programs
• Perform other duties assigned 

• Preferably with Degree in Nursing
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification clinical nursing experience with at least 3 years as duty IC
• Post registration specialty qualifications
• Possess a valid/current nursing practicing certificate in Hong Kong
• BLS bi-yearly recertification
• ACLS is required for Critical Care Areas
• Clinical and technical competency
• Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures, knowledge of current trends in nursing practice
• Good influencing skill and interpersonal skills
• Staff coaching and mentoring skill is essential
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese Languages
