Job Responsibilities

  • Assess and provide dietary counselling for patients to enhance patient’s nutritional status and dietary plan
  • Develop nutrition plans and implement interventions based on knowledge of patient’s current health
  • Provide training and carrying out audit about special diet for kitchen staff
  • Monitor the standard for quality and safety in food services for inpatients
  • Provide consultative dietetic services to the health care team
  • Conduct lectures and trainings on nutrition or dietetic-related topics to staff and the community
  • Carry out clinical audit to ensure the services is maintain in a high standard
  • Provide clinical teaching for students
  • Other assignments as and when required
  • Shift duty is required

Requirements

  • A post-graduate Diploma in Dietetics or a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dietetics
  • Be eligible to register as a Dietitian in the country where the academic qualification was obtained
  • Strong problem solving skills, project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in MS office and hospital information system
  • Good command of written and spoken in both English and Chinese
