Registered Nurse (Infection Prevention & Control)

• Perform duties as assigned by NM
• Assist in revising policies and guidelines
• Participate in IPC related surveillance, audit and projects and prepare reports
• Participate in implementation of IPC programs to promote staff and patient safety
• Assist in handling enquires and liaison work related to IPC
• Provide training to staff and health education to patient and relatives
• Participate in evidence based practice and quality improvement programs to meet international and local standard and requirement
• Organize and provide staff immunizations programs
• Participate in N95 Fit Test Program
• Participate in investigation, control of IPC diseases outbreak
• Participate in IPC meeting and minutes drafting

• Preferably with Degree in Nursing
• Possess a valid/current nursing practicing certificate in Hong Kong
• Clinical and technical competency
• Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures, knowledge of current trends in nursing practice.
• Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese Languages
• Good customer service skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• BLS bi-yearly recertification
• ACLS is required for Critical Care Areas
