Key responsibilities

  • Assist department head in managing a full spectrum of corporate communications functions and platforms
  • Develop and implement external and internal communications year plans
  • Plan, pitch and execute media publicity initiatives to support service launches, brand propositions and employer branding
  • Act as the key person for media enquiries handling, and implement media engagement initiatives to build positive relationships with media stakeholders
  • Assist in developing key messages and managing liaison with media and internal stakeholders during handling of crisis/issues

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Communications, Journalism or related disciplines
  • At least 10 years of solid experience in corporate communications, media relations or public affairs
  • Strong media relations experience and network is highly preferred
  • A confident relationship builder who is capable to build rapports with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver quality work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent command in spoken and written English and Chinese, with fluency in Mandarin
