Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase goods and services from both local and oversea vendors
  • Assist in preparing tender documents and handling contract management
  • Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions
  • Evaluate vendor’s performance to align with hospital requirements
  • Prepare monthly report and follow up the outstanding POs’ in the system
  • Follow up “recall” and “complaint” case
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • Diploma in Purchasing & Supply Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in a similar capacity preferably in health care industry or hospital
  • Excellent communications and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers
  • Good leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
