Compliance Officer

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring that hospital operations comply with internal standards and regulatory policy
  • Responsible for monitoring all the legal affairs within the hospital / organization
  • Responsible to review and recommend the potential liabilities, legal issues and possible courses of actions of the organisation’s agreements to minimize the risk
  • Monitors all operational processes and procedures using a compliance management system to ensure that the hospital / organization complies with all the legal regulations and ethical standards
  • Manages information flow by researching, recording and analysing data and information. With a regular flow of information and conducting periodic compliance risk assessments, they ensure that the hospital / organization runs smoothly
  • Provide information to the staff/colleagues so that they are informed of any legal changes and updates to compliance guidelines
  • Conducts regular assessments to determine whether policies are compliant with the law and standards
  • Assist Senior Manager of Hospital Administration on other duties required
  • Other compliance related topics that may arise from time to time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferred Bachelor of Law
  • At least 2-3 years experience working under legal or compliance role and as an individual contributor
  • Certified compliance professional is a plus
  • Proven experience as compliance officer, especially compliance evaluation and auditing experience
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare industry’s standards and regulations
  • Strong communication skills, good analytical thinking and ability Proficiency in both English and Chinese
