Health Information and Records Officer

Job Responsibilities
- Perform clinical coding using ICD-10 and CPT
- Handle and process Data Access Requests from patients and third parties
- Handle and respond to phone enquiry related to Medical Records
- Liaise with other departments on areas related to health information and records management
- Handling of Hospital Forms and standardization
- Assist in Hospital continuous quality improvement projects and conduct regular audits
- Perform other related duties assigned by the Manager
Requirements
- A university degree from the Health Care discipline or equivalent; with at least 2 years of Hospital administrative experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology and experience within a medical environment preferred
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Good communication and customer service skills, self-initiative and responsible
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work commitments to achieve specific deadlines
- Candidate with less experience will be offered the post of Assistant Health Information & Records Officer
