Medical Audiotypist

• Responsible for the audio typing of pathologist’s reports and all clinical correspondence within the Department of Clinical Laboratory
• Arrange meetings, often attending them to take minutes
• Typing up confidential medical notes or reports provided from pathologists or line manager
• Ensure all clinical correspondence is typed and processed within specified turn-around time
• Taking incoming enquiry calls with appropriate answers or direct into the relevant office or laboratory

• F.6 or above, passes in HKDSE English & Chinese Language
• Experience in typing medical reports especially in surgical pathology and cytology areas is required
• University graduate in medical or healthcare related discipline
• Fast and accurate audio typing skills and a sound knowledge of medical terminology
