What is Knee Arthroscopy?

Arthroscopy is a surgical procedure on the knee to repair or replace a damaged meniscus, the C-shaped discs that cushion the knee. Meniscal repair is a relatively simple procedure that can be done as an outpatient arthroscopic surgery (keyhole surgery) so that the patient can go home on the same day.

Why is Knee Arthroscopy required?

Arthroscopy is the best way to treat many knee injuries, including meniscal tear. The small wounds from the arthroscopy bring less painful than those from open surgery and more cosmetically pleasing appearance.
